Portfolio Manager, Seelaus Asset Management

Paul Yang joined the firm in January 2024 as a mortgage-backed securities (MBS) portfolio manager. Previously, he held trading and portfolio manager positions at Swiss Re Asset Management for 5 years, managing assets looking for relative value across different sectors and taking risk tactically in agency MBS/CMBS. He began his career at Gerald Group as a base metal commodity trader.

Paul holds a BS degree in mathematics from University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Master’s degree in financial engineering from Cornell University.
