R. Seelaus & Co, Llc And Goldman Sachs Asset Management Announce Two New Cash Management Solutions

New York, NY – February 11th, 2022 – R. Seelaus & Co, LLC (“Seelaus”), a women-owned, full service broker-dealer and asset management firm, and Goldman Sachs Asset Management announced a cash management solution in support of organizations that promote gender equality.

The two money market fund share class offerings will be available to clients of Seelaus and Goldman Sachs. The Seelaus share classes will be offered as part of the Goldman Sachs Financial Square Government Fund (WMNXX) and Goldman Sachs Financial Square Treasury Instruments Fund (WOMXX), which are Goldman Sachs Asset Management’s two largest US money market funds.

Annie Seelaus, Chief Executive Officer of Seelaus, said: “We are honored to have partnered with Goldman Sachs, a company that has been at the frontlines of the diversity, equity and inclusion discussion in the financial services industry. The partnership helps ensure that women in the financial services industry and community are able to have the opportunities, skills and access they need to have a much bigger seat at the table.”

The share classes are another impact option offered at Seelaus, which seeks to fulfill its mission to increase opportunities for women in finance through financial solutions focused on gender equity.  In advancing its commitment to gender equity, Seelaus will look to capitalize on the growth of the funds to help support new and different local organizations that have a similar goal. To that end, Seelaus has committed to using at least 10% of the net revenues it receives from Goldman Sachs with respect to the funds to support organizations that provide educational opportunities to women globally, with a focus on opportunities in technology education.

“Seelaus has been a great partner to Goldman Sachs for many years, and we are excited to partner with their firm and further our shared mission through this product” said Frank Murphy, managing director at Goldman Sachs.

The new share classes also build upon Goldman Sachs’ commitment to furthering its relationship with diverse broker-dealers, including veteran- and minority-led firms, such as Drexel Hamilton and Loop Capital, respectively.
