Benjamin Seelaus

Chief Operating Officer, R.Seelaus & Co.

As chief operating officer at Seelaus, Ben leads the firm’s macro growth initiatives, including the expansion of the asset management business. He joined the firm as a managing director in 2014. Previously, Ben was a managing director and headed the U.S. government bond trading desk at Morgan Stanley. At Morgan Stanley, he managed upwards of $40 billion in balance sheet and positions and maintained a tier-one ranking in key market share statistics. Ben also worked at HSBC and J.P. Morgan, rounding out more than a decade of capital markets experience.

Ben earned a bachelor’s degree from Princeton University.
