Annie Seelaus, Chief Executive Officer

Annie has served as the firm's Chief Executive Officer since January 2015.  She spent a total of 9 years with HSBC, beginning in the Graduate Training program in London. After 2 years of rotating through various fixed-income departments, where she covered insurance companies, money managers, and worldwide hedge funds, Annie joined HSBC's Credit Sales Desk in London, before ultimately relocating to New York City.  The move to Senior Vice President of Credit Sales soon followed and Annie spent the next few years covering top emerging market asset managers in multi-currency fixed income products, specializing in Latin America, South America, and Asia.

Since joining R. Seelaus in 2009, Annie has built a team of institutional sales people and traders, who now cover a wide-range of fixed income products. She became a partner in 2011 and was named CEO of R. Seelaus & Co., Inc. in December of 2014. She holds FINRA licenses 7, 24 & 63.

Annie grew up in Summit where she attended Oak Knoll School. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in History from Princeton University and also played for the school's Division 1 Women’s Ice Hockey team. Annie currently resides in Short Hills, NJ.

 

A. Quentin Murray III, Head of Sales & Trading

A. Quentin Murray III joined R. Seelaus & Co. as Head of Sales & Trading in June 2017, bringing with him 35 years of industry experience in both tax-exempt and taxable fixed income products.  Quentin began his career in the municipal bond business, starting at J.J. Kenny in 1982 and then moving to Cantor Fitzgerald in 1985.  In 1991 he joined Lehman Brothers as a government bond and credit salesman, marking his transition from tax-exempt securities to taxable.  He would go on to work at Lehman for 13 years before being hired in 2004 by HSBC Securities as a Managing Director and Head of Credit Sales and Head of Preferreds and Hybrids.  Since then he has continued to work in the preferred stock and hybrid space, serving as Co-Head of Preferreds and Hybrids at a number of well-known Wall Street firms including Bank of America, Broadpoint Securities Group (Gleacher Partners), and Stifel Nicolaus & Co. 

Quentin holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Virginia and currently resides in Chatham, New Jersey with his wife and four children.  He is active in his community, most notably as a member of Corpus Christi parish and as a trustee for the Tri-County Scholarship Fund.

Leslie Graves

Co-Head Debt Origination and Syndication
Leslie brings to R. Seelaus & Co. a wealth of knowledge about Financial Institutions banking, having previously served as Managing Director in the Bank and Finance Origination Group at Mischler Financial Group Inc. Prior to joining Mischler, Leslie worked at Credit Suisse for 26 years as a floating rate note trader and later as a fixed income syndicate professional focused on frequent issuers, domestic and yankee banks, and corporate MTN issuers.

Leslie received an BA in Economics at Duke University and an MBA from the University of Virginia, The Darden School. She is Series 7,24,63, and 79 licensed. 

 

Jim Brucia

Co-Head Debt Origination and Syndication
Jim joined R. Seelaus & Co. with over 30 years of experience in the corporate bond market, most recently as Head of U.S. Debt Finance for the Americas at BBVA. Prior to that, Jim was Co-Head of Debt Finance for the Americas at HSBC and served in a variety of trading and syndicate roles at JP Morgan and its predecessor organizations.

Jim is a CFA Charterholder and graduated with a B.S. in Economics from the Wharton School of Finance at the University of Pennsylvania. He is Series 7, 24, 63, and 79 licensed.

John Matsikoudis

Municipal Bond Underwriter
John joined R. Seelaus & Co. in June of 2015, bringing with him over 30 years of experience in the financial markets as a municipal bond trader and underwriter.  During his almost 10 years at Loop Capital Markets, John headed trading and risk management before making the transition to full-time municipal bond underwriting.  In 2014 he moved to Castle Oak Securities, where he served as a managing director and was responsible for developing the municipal sales, trading, and underwriting businesses with an emphasis on coordinating efforts in the public finance space.

 
 

Linda Post

Vice President of Trading and Underwriting
Linda Post has been Vice President of Trading and Underwriting in R. Seelaus's Boston office since September of 2013.  With over 30 years of experience with fixed income products, she has a strong knowledge of municipal market fundamentals and continues to maintain many favorable street relationships.  Linda manages the municipal trading and underwriting responsibilities for retail, trust, and institutional clients.  She holds FINRA licenses 7 & 63.

Linda is a graduate of Northeastern University and resides in Westwood, MA with her husband and son

John Morgan

Senior Vice President
John joined the R. Seelaus & Co. in February of 2010 to found the Interest Rates Trading group.  John spent the first 27 years of his career in various trading and management roles in the financial industry.  The bulk of his career was spent as a Senior Managing Director, overseeing the Capital Markets group for Josephthal & Co., a NYSE firm.  He holds FINRA licenses 7, 24, & 63.

John is a Veteran of the United States Marine Corps. He currently resides in New Jersey with his wife and three children.  

 
 

John Colwell

Senior Vice President
John joined the firm in April of 2011 as an interest rates trader.  John spent the majority of his career at Paine Webber/UBS, where he worked for over 22 years on both the Wealth Management and Investment Banking sides of the firm.  One of John's main roles at UBS was on the Agency desk, where he underwrote callable bonds for FNMA, FHLMC, FHLB, and Farmer Mac and distributing them to both retail and institutional clients.  He holds FINRA licenses 7 & 63.

John earned a bachelor’s degree from Seton Hall University in finance and currently resides in Westfield, NJ with his wife Patricia and four children.  

 
 

Jeff Feigenwinter

Senior Vice President
Jeff joined R. Seelaus & Co. as an interest rates trader  in January of 2015.  Throughout his career, Jeff has a been a market maker and trader of US Government Securities for several firms including Credit Suisse, HSBC, and Morgan Stanley.  Prior to joining Seelaus, Jeff was a Managing Director and Head of the Primary Dealership at Societe Generale for 4 years and had previously served as Head of the Primary Dealership at BNP Paribas for an additional 6 years before that.  He holds FINRA licenses 7, 24, & 63.

Jeff earned a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Vermont.  He currently resides in Basking Ridge, NJ with his wife and 3 children.

Sean Keville

Senior Vice President
Sean joined the firm as a taxable sales trader in 2014 after spending 15 years at Morgan Stanley.  While at Morgan Stanley, Sean worked on the institutional municipal trading desk before moving to the institutional taxable trading desk and eventually into sales with Morgan Stanley Wealth Management.

Sean earned his Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Moravian College, where he played varsity football, and his M.B.A. from Fordham University.  He is a CFA Charterholder and holds FINRA licenses 7, 55, & 63.

Sean currently resides in River Vale, NJ with his wife and daughter.

 

Richard Bertoni

Senior Vice President
Richard, who goes by "Bert" on the floor, brings with him over 25 years of experience trading a range of credit products.  Bert began his career in 1986 at Paine Webber (later acquired by UBS).  There he traded Investment Grade corporate bonds until 1995 and then ran the High Yield Corporate Bond desk until 2000. Bert moved on to trade utilities at HSBC from 2002 to 2006 before moving to Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein to trade a range of credit products including high yield, investment grade, CDS, preferreds, and hybrids.  Bert's final stop before joining Seelaus in January of 2012 was at Mitsubishi Financial Tokyo Group, where he continued to focus on trading across the credit spectrum.   He holds FINRA licenses 7, 24. 55, & 63.

 

Leslie Rich

Vice President, Institutional Sales
Leslie Rich has been a Vice President of Institutional Sales for R. Seelaus & Co. in the Boston office for the past year and a half.   She has worked in fixed income sales for 35 years, beginning her career in NYC and then moving to Boston in 1983.  Her main focus at R. Seelaus has been to establish strong relationships with major institutional fixed income accounts.  She has a strong knowledge of municipal market fundamentals and takes pride in finding exceptional value for her clients.   She holds FINRA licenses 7 & 63.

Leslie graduated from Boston College with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics with a concentration in environmental studies.   Leslie has an active appreciation for the outdoors and spends considerable amount of her personal time hiking and playing tennis.  She lives in Holliston, MA with her husband and two children, who work and live in Boston.
